Carol Staines

After a lifetime sentence teaching, I indulge myself in a long-term desire to create colourful paintings without interruption! I work in both watercolour and oil, preferring to create paintings that speak a different message to each individual viewer. I have paintings as far afield as Australia, Florida, Arizona, Geneva, Russia, Paris and quite a few in the good old UK!

Born in Tyneside, back in the dark ages, and having lived in the Wolds of Lincolnshire for several years, I now live permanently in the beautiful county of Gloucestershire. From my garden studio I am free to indulge my passion for paint and colour. My other activities include writing short stories and travelling around the globe, as well as behaving like the family matriarch!
