Claire has recently moved back to Cheltenham to further develop her work, as well as, to teach art to children and new to art adults. Claire took part in Open Studios when she arrived.
Claire’s love of the human form and organic shapes has led her to boldly create a series of paintings called JOY and HOLD ME that will be shown at Sixteen Gallery. They evoke emotions of passion and love.
Claire's Google Profile picture is “Keep Calm and Feed a Chicken” and birds often feature in her work. Claire has also successfully taken her series of Ink & Acrylic Bird Paintings into Interior Design with suedette cushions & coasters, which will also be available.

Anna Martin
Anna is half Spanish, half Irish and was born and raised in London where she initiated her art career at the Chelsea School of Art; then transferred to Parsons School of Design in New York, graduating with a BA in Communication Design.
Anna lives in Cheltenham and describes herself as an expressionist painter influenced by the language and vibrancy of the impressionists and abstract expressionists. At times she is drawn to more abstract compositions and allows gestural movements and rhythm to guide her painting. Anna enjoys capturing movement and aims to convey this energy through subjects, such as, horses or dancers in a fleeting moment as though seen through the eyes of the subject.
For over a decade Anna has also tutored aspiring artists on painting holidays in the UK, Spain, Greece, Turkey and the US.

Pam Chapman
Pam took up Ceramics as part of her BA course in Visual Art at the University of Gloucestershire and now works in her studio and garden at home in Cheltenham.
Pam hand builds her work then, after biscuit firing in an electric kiln, decorates the pieces with a technique called Naked Raku, as well as coloured and copper based glazes. The items are then fired outdoors in a gas kiln.
This process is relatively unpredictable and challenging but, on a good day, can produce unusual and aesthetically pleasing pieces
