Inspired by landscape and the elements, my paintings explore colour, texture, atmosphere, and change. Working intuitively with acrylics, oil sticks, dry pigments, and glazes, I build up layers that evolve through experimentation and response rather than a predetermined plan. The resulting abstract and semi-abstract works reflect a process of discovery, where each painting finds its own direction. I have drawn and painted throughout my life, studied Art History at university, and more recently developed my practice through courses in abstract and expressive landscape painting at the Newlyn School of Art with some truly amazing tutors.
