bio

An abstract and semi-abstract landscape painter, Emma lives and works in Surrey. Having lived in both England and Australia, her work is influenced by her emotions and visual memories, primarily of the natural landscapes within which she has lived and travelled. She paints emotively and intuitively, using very thin layers of oil paint, building depth into her work to create an ethereal sense. Not unlike viewing a landscape, her works reveal more as you slow down and absorb yourself within the painting, often providing a place of tranquil reflection and solitude. Emma is an Associate Member of the Society of Graphic Fine Art (the Drawing Society UK) – ASGFA
