Non-representational painting excites me with its spontaneous, intuitive process. The interplay of composition, tone, shape, and color, combined with the unpredictable nature of the medium, creates a dynamic challenge. I'm fascinated by how paint interacts with the canvas, influenced by consistency, density, and mixtures. Inspired by the natural world—space, oceans, rock formations, and plants—I create art that pushes the boundaries of acrylic fluid art. My creative journey includes a Fine Art BA (Hons) specializing in sculpture, ceramics, running a pottery, a PGCE in Art and Design, secondary school teaching, youth adventure travel, and seven years in Hong Kong. I returned to creating art in 2018 and found my niche in fluid art.
