My interest in black and white imagery began while growing up in Kenya. I like the purity of the total contrast using ink, whether in straight or flowing lines. The oils I do are inspired by nature: generally landscape, but I also enjoy using colours to make patterns. Charcoal is a new medium for me; my general aim is realism.
