My interest in painting arose during my last year at Swansea metropolitan university in 2013, after painting portraits for most of that final year I then began painting outdoors for the first time, the learning curve was steep and after a few years of experimentation I began to really find my feet. Painting from life, outdoors in the open air for me is the pinnacle of painting, it provides great challenges and opportunities to interact with others.
