bio

My practice is rooted in intuition. I thrive when juggling different materials and ideas, allowing loose plans to evolve naturally. Nature is my biggest inspiration — particularly its more mystical, uncanny sides. I’m fascinated by the strange and beautiful details others might find unsettling: double-headed animals, surreal flora, and other oddities that blur the line between reality and imagination. I'm a multimedia artist based in Devon, England, working mainly with oil paint, air-dry clay, and found or recycled materials — from hubcaps to old furniture. Recently, I’ve started exploring ceramics and upholstery, expanding my creative process and letting new mediums guide me. I also draw influence from folk art, antiques, 1970s interiors, and the unexpected charm of discarded objects. My work often features recurring motifs like stars and eyes, blending the decorative with the functional. I blur the line between art and craft, making work that feels both otherworldly and familiar — objects that hold a sense of wonder and belong in everyday spaces. I'm very happy to discuss commissions and am excited to keep evolving this ever-growing collection of weird, wondrous work!
