bio

I am a contemporary oil painter living in East Sussex specialising in landscapes and seascapes, but lately I have had a number of commissions for dog paintings as well. I have been painting for a number of years now but more seriously since completing a diploma at the Norfolk Painting School in 2018. This was a year of intensive work which involved studies of the old masters and techniques in oil Oil has always been my first love, although I do also use acrylic on occasions particularly when painting a dog portrait. I am a member of the Society of Eastbourne Artist (SEA) and in May 2 I won the Majors Challenge Cup for a painting called Lavender Fields in Kent.
