"Fountains are a Gull’s Best Friend" is a collagraph print in a limited variable edition of 12. This piece is an homage to my local outdoor swimming pool, the beautiful Cheltenham Lido which dates back to the 1930s. The fountain and Art Deco style layout is iconic and I couldn’t resist showing those cheeky seagulls that are often seen cooling off in the fountain. I used environmount board to make the collagraph plate, peeling back layers and scoring lines and attaching textured papers
