SIXTEEN GALLERY |30 OCTOBER -- 5 NOVEMBER

OPEN DAILY 10:30 - 4:30

ARTHUR OWEN-SMITH (AMOS) PRESENTS THE ARTIST'S HAND, AN EXHIBITION OF ENTIRELY NEW WORK IN A NEW STYLE, ON A TANGENT FROM THE TRADITIONAL PRINTMAKING AND GRAPHIC DESIGN PROCESS OF HIS PREVIOUS EXHIBITIONS.

" This exhibition is the result of a personal project that I have been developing over the last year or so as I investigated a more painterly approach to my artistic practise. The collection encompasses an exploration that delves deep into composition, colour and texture, elements that have always been part of my practice but rarely realised to this extent. The work is a selection of pieces created during my examination of the symbolism and semiotics of Tarot’s Major Arcana which have then been reflected through personal experience, modern day imagery and digital design techniques.

Referencing a huge number of design principles and creative history, from Dada to Bauhaus and Punk, the show represents a culmination of over two decades of personal creative curation and development, binding them together into a single collection in an original signature style. "

A selection of the work to be featured in the show can be found on his Sixteen Gallery portfolio:
