ARTISTS EXHIBITIONS : APRIL

EXHIBITIONS | FROM THE COLLECTIVE

BERONY ABRAHAM, JANE POWELL & FIONA BOULT

Sorry (not sorry) we're very Cheltenham this month! But check out this beautiful duo of exhibitions from the collective artists on this April. Two different venues over two weeks, if you're local why not visit both or make a day of it as the two cross over! And if not, next month were sure to be back with some more exhibitions from across the country.

Abstract landscape painting of colorful patchwork fields and rolling hills under a bright blue sky, evoking a serene, vibrant mood.

BRIGHT AS A BUTTON

At Sixteen Gallery this month, 'Bright as a Button' is a vibrant display of complementary but divergent approaches to painting by Berony Abraham and her son Angus. Berony is an acrylic and mixed media artist who paints impressionistic landscapes; abstract style works which focus on the balance of colours and objects rather than painting a recognisable places. This exhibition brings her work together with that of her son who creates abstract works inspired by his diverse interests from running to yoga to therapy.

You can find out more here.

Four artworks: a colorful portrait, a serene landscape with birds, a seascape, and an abstract painting with vibrant hues.

FLUIDITY AND FORM

‘Fluidity and Form ’ is an exhibition of selected works from four artists, bringing together a vibrant mix of original paintings and printmaking at Gardens Gallery, Cheltenham.

Alongside Jo Biggadike and Karen Fitzpatrick, Sixteen Online members Jane Powell and Fiona Boult invite you to discover a lively world where colour, texture and shape come together in an exploration of fluidity and form.
