ANDY OWEN-SMITH
FREESTYLE

Andy Owen-Smith presents a series of paintings contrasting human fragility against the enduring power and perpetual enormity of the sea in his solo exhibition, Freestyle at Sixteen Gallery. Using painting as an opportunity to translate and capture an image to give it presence and longevity, he explores the theme of sea swimming, freezing frenetic moments in time as human forms interact with the ocean. With an all-new series of large-scale works, drop in to catch up with the artist about his latest project.
