HOLLY LISHMAN PRESENTS INTO THE WILD

Holly Lishman's debut solo exhibition, brings together original oil paintings that sit at the intersection of fine art and conservation storytelling. At its heart is the Africa Top 10 series; ten paintings, each depicting an endangered African species, from the eastern lowland gorilla to the pangolin - created in direct partnership with conservation charities working to protect that animal in the wild. A share of every sale, original and print, is donated to the relevant charity partner.

Alongside the series, a collection of Holly's original wildlife paintings completes the exhibition, extending the same realism and emotion to subjects beyond the African continent. Together, the collection reflects Holly's ambition for her work - not just to depict the natural world, but to help protect it. As she puts it: art is the lens, conservation is the reason.

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Holly Lishman is a Cheltenham-based oil painter specialising in wildlife and conservation art. Working around a full-time job, she has spent recent years building a practice rooted in realism and emotional depth, with a particular focus on endangered species and the threats they face. Her paintings are grounded in careful research into each animal's conservation status, resulting in work that aims to inform as much as it moves.

Into The Wild marks Holly's first solo exhibition and represents a significant step toward painting full-time. Alongside her studio practice, she partners directly with conservation organisations to ensure her work translates into tangible support for the species she paints.
