LADY GABE presents EXTRA: There is power in being YOU.
Built over the last few years, this collection explores the vivid, tangled landscape of my neurodivergent mind, shaped by Synaesthesia, ADHD, and the way I connect nature with mental wellbeing. Each piece is a textured journal entry in disguise, layered with hidden notes, quiet truths and energetic florals.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
Hannah is a self‑taught artist based in Cheltenham, creating work that pulses with bold colour, playful energy, and intricate hidden details. For over a decade, her practice has circled the themes of emotional resilience and mental wellbeing.
After leaving the corporate world in 2015, she carved out a thriving digital illustration career with major brands and publications. But during the stillness of the 2020 lockdown, the glow of the screen gave way to a deeper pull - a need to create with her hands again, to help quiet her mind in the uncertainty of it all.
"Painting became both refuge and revelation, guiding me toward my ADHD diagnosis in my thirties. With a clearer sense of how my mind moves differently, I felt an instinctive pull to lean into it rather than hide it away. I’d spent a lifetime being called 'too much' or 'extra', so discovering the creative strength in my own mental wiring was liberating! It felt like a permission slip to be fully, unapologetically myself and that is how I continue in my creative practice today."
Since 2022, Hannah has devoted herself to intuitive abstract works, expansive murals, and expressive storytelling. Each piece acts as a journal entry, processing grief, anxiety, and the quiet joys of being alive.
Her latest collection, EXTRA, moves with emotional freedom and rhythm. It is a celebration of colour, nature, and the power of being fully, vividly yourself.
