29 AUGUST -- 10 SEPTEMBER
The first-ever Sixteen Gallery Open Call Exhibition is in full swing as of this last weekend, and we're over the moon with how it turned out. Our panel of expert judges (find out about them here) picked just 50 works from over 700 entries to make the show and we're so proud to have so many members of our collective making through. You can find Abigail Waddell, Aly Lloyd, AMOS, Ellie Thomas, Emily Mitchell, Jane Foot, Mike Skinner, Nick Holmes, Roy Shapiro and Sam Kelser in the exhibition alongside the other talented artists.
If you can't make it down to the show, or you fancy another look, you can view the online catalogue here.

FINDING A PLACE
Ellie Thomas is in Sixteen Gallery this month, presenting a thoughtful duo exhibition with another local artist, Susie Gilbert. Finding A Place is a collaboration between two artists with different and distinct styles. The exhibition delves into themes of place and identity, presenting landscapes that hold deep personal significance as well as figurative work that communicates the essence of character and personality.
Find out all about the exhibition and the artists here.

24 -- 28 SEPTEMBER
Jonathan Oakes shows his original artworks in a solo exhibition at the Gardens Gallery in Cheltenham.
Bringing his signature thought-provoking abstract paintings influenced by environmental concerns and the difference between natural and synthetic experiences, he entices viewers to flights of imagination.
