Sixteen Gallery Postcard Show Artworks

PEOPLE, PLACES, OBJECTS

Ellie Thomas joins 5 other local artists in an exhibition of diverse styles and mediums in People, Places, Objects at The Gardens Gallery in Cheltenham.


Showcasing printmaking, pastel, and painting, the artists explore nature, portraiture, landscapes and still life, with Ellie bringing her signature style works influenced by her experience of the local landscape.

ING DISCERNING EYE

The ING Discerning Eye's annual exhibition returns to the Mall Galleries, London, curated by a panel of six art world figures - Curtis Holder, Polly Morgan, Richard Ansett, Rosie Millard, Dr Chris Stephens, and Nicholas Scott.


With more than 730 artworks selected from 6,500 entries, we're so proud to see that two of our members have been included: Lucy Pass's thoughtful fresh take on figuration, Lag, and Mike Skinner's characteristically enigmatic, The Blue Chairs. The exhibition promises to offer a beautiful mix of styles, subjects, and media, reflecting the breadth of contemporary British art. Find out more here.

27 NOVEMBER -- 13 DECEMBER

ROYAL INSTITUTE OF OIL PAINTERS

Roy Shapiro exhibits with The Royal Institute of Oil Painters in the ROI Annual Exhibition 2025, showcasing his expressive realism style celebrating the abundance and exuberance of nature.


This year's exhibition features over 300 works by elected members of the Institute, representing many of the nation's top oil painters, alongside artists selected from an international open submission. Showing works on the theme of Home, this exhibition showcases the some of the best of contemporary oil painting. Find out more here.

LANSDOWN ART STUDIOS CHRISTMAS EXHIBITION

OLIVIA MITCHELL


Taking us into the festive season, Lansdown Art Studios hosts Cheltenham's largest Christmas exhibition including over 500 artworks.


You can find Olivia Mitchell exhibiting her tactile explorations of the natural world in her open studio alongside many other artists and the Studios Corridor Gallery.


The exhibition starts with a celebratory open evening on Friday 28th November from 4pm to 8pm, and continues through the weekend 10am - 5pm each day. Find out more here.
