Judy has a background in theatre and live performance and is a published writer.
As a psychotherapist she explored the benefits of creating art as part of the therapeutic process.
She has exhibited in the RA Summer exhibition and the RWA Open Exhibition
The print "these are a few of my favourite things,” was inspired by a collaboration between myself and Isabelle Nilsson. Isabelle suggested we exchange images of much loved objects in our lives.
I was intrigued by not only the objects she sent me, but the backgrounds, in particular the wall paper she had printed. We had also discussed her love of cats and I wanted to reflect that. A theme that runs through my work is depictions of people creating art.
