Ollie has been a member of the GPC for 2 years. His work is based around the interaction between shape and colour and line, creating detailed, large-scale repeats for use in upholstery, fashion and interiors

I was inspired by the form of Yasminas figures, the exaggerated stance and the space it created. I’ve been drawing in an intuitive way recently and felt this free-flowing way of working (in which I think more about the space each line occupies more than the motifs themselves) responded well against Yasminas original.
