As we move further into autumn, October brings an lovely roundup of shows from our collective members, taking place at galleries across the country. From solo showcases to curated group exhibitions, our members are exhibiting work near and far this month.
Take a look at what’s on, mark your calendars, and make sure to catch a few before they close – there is plenty to see both down at Sixteen Gallery and right across the UK.
19 September – 7 November
VICTORIA ART GALLERY, BATH
Mike joins the Bath Society of Artists Open Exhibition 2026. Featuring members of the society alongside selected artists, it is the highlight of the society’s calendar and a big social event for Bath's artistic community.

SIXTEEN GALLERY, CHELTENHAM
Sam Kelser brings her first solo exhibition, A Hugo Shaped Hole to Sixteen Gallery. Through this new body of work she explores the ways in which creativity can emerge from loss, bringing together a collection of contemporary figurative paintings inspired by the stories that exist beneath the surface of everyday life.

RBSA GALLERY, BIRMINGHAM
Lucy Pass's artwork Applecart is selected for the biennial RBSA Prize. The exhibition brings together shortlisted works at the RBSA Gallery, celebrating creativity and innovation by promoting work at the cutting edge of contemporary art.
The exhibition includes work by artists based locally, nationally, and internationally, with the RBSA shining a light on artwork that is pushing boundaries. Find out more here.
9 – 21 October
SIXTEEN GALLERY, CHELTENHAM
The Sixteen Gallery Postcard Show returns, bringing together hundreds of artists, the community, and local causes all in one wild, creative celebration. Featuring 100s of original pieces from100s of artists and over 30 of the collective members – not to be missed if you want to collect affordable pieces from your favourite artists!

67 YORK STREET GALLERY, LONDON
Sarah Knight is featured alongside other members of Skylark Galleries in Surface and Structure at the York Street gallery. A group exhibition exploring and celebrating the substance of art, the show features sculpture, glass, textiles, photography, ceramics and paintings.

FERENS ART GALLERY, HULL
Tamsin Hyde has been selected to exhibit in the annual Open Exhibition at Ferens Art Gallery in Hull. This annual exhibition has celebrated the creativity of local amateur and professional artists since 1967, and each year provides an exciting opportunity for artists. Visitors can expect to see a fascinating array of artwork including paintings, photography, textiles, sculptures and ceramics.
